  1. Pairc na Gorta was the famine field because the soil was very poor. Pairciens was called so because it is a small field.
    Páirc na Rigte was another field but it is not known how it got its name. Móin Rigte was the king's bog.
    The barricks field was called so because it was the soldiers camp & there was a barricks in that field.
