  1. There is a Holy Well near Rathcash & its name is St. Philomena's Well. It is so called because a woman fell into the well & as there was another invalid woman coming to the well. She wore a St. Philomena's cord & she took it off & threw it into the well & the other woman revived & both were cured afterwards.
