    There was a man named Phelan who lived between Gowran & Gorsbridge. Hr had a farm and on it there was a well called Lady Well. This well was surrounded by trees, skeough & alders.
    One day Phelan cut down all the trees etc & the next morning when he woke all the trees etc had grown up & formed a circle & from that day to this it was called Lady or Fairy Fort.
    There is a rath in the demense in Gowran & (and) in the centre there is a bush. Some of the people who believed in fairies say that once when a man
