- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)neighbours used to milk the cow before he got up. When he went out, he saw milking the cow something in the shape of a hare. The hare was supposed to have been a devil or some other evil spirit.
Once a priest was going on a sick call. When he was passing a field he heard a beautiful voice singing. He turned around and saw a very pretty girl milking a cow. He decided to take a short cut to the house where the dying man was. He crossed the field and to his surprise, instead of the pretty girl he saw a hound. When the hound saw the priest he ran for his life. The priest went on through the fields and when he reached the man's house he was told that the man had died about ten minutes before.
