  1. A good many years ago, my grandfather was returning home late from a house he had been visiting in Carn. He proceeded all right until he was nearing a lone bush in a field near his home. He heard wonderful music and when he came close to the bush (which he had to pass) he could see a crowd of tiny men & women dancing. All of a sudden he felt unable to see anything, least of all his way home. When daylight came & he could see again he found himself close to the house he had left the night before. He thought the fairies must have been angry at their revels being disturbed, by a human & he resolved never to go near a lone bush late at night again.
