- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)at Ballybeggan. They were crossing the field when they were suddenly attacked by the Irish and were defeated. This field is now called "Sebastipool". At the side of the field there is a path and it is said that by that path the Normans escaped. That path is supposed to be the old main road to the castle.
In the field next to us is a grave-yard in which there is supposed to be buried there people that died during the Famine. A relation of my mothers cut a piece of limestone and shined it. Afterwards this stone was used as an alter-stone in the Mowine Mountains in County Down.- Bailitheoir
