- When anyone has a cut he gets the dog or cat to lick it and it will be cured in the morning. If a thorn goes into a persons finger so far that he can not get it out, he just put a fox's tongue to it and it will come out.
The cure for the Whopping cough is ferrets leavings. A ferret which is a small animal drinks milk and what he leaves after him the child drinks.
A man who has a snow white horse, has a cure for the measles.
A cure for toothache is alum but it is a poison and must not be swallowed. The cure for the heartache is oat meal and some prayers to be said.(continues on next page)- Collector
