    They are clear, strong, tall and hard-working. To distinguish one from another they are called after their father or mother such as; Thady Mick Boland, Shawn Maura Ruardh.
    The majority of the people are industrious and hard-working. When they haven't enough land they buy conacre. When they have a few new machines for farming such as a threshing-mill, a potato-digger, a mowing-machine and a reaper-and a-binder.
