  1. Extract
    They used to eat the leaves of the trees when they had no food to get.
    In our village a man was found dead in a wood, and after his funeral they wood not go near the wood, because they were afraid they would get a disease.
    A man had walked from town with a bag of cabbage. When he came to Corballa he was found dead, then the people divided the cabbage.
    Crowds of people sold their houses and went to America. There they got work.
    Often a man with a big family would have no food. Then he used to go out and kill the Landlord's lamb or sheep. If he was found out he would be put in prison.
