   on islands or in the trees along a lake.
   In the roof or an old barn or byre the swallow builds her nest.
   The sparrow builds her nest in the cave of a thatched house.
   The corncrakes nest is the nicest because when she has it made she twists tráiníns over it and so makes a roof.
   When crows fly home low it is a sign of bad weather but when they fly home high it is a sign of good weather.
   When a crane flies west the weather will be bad.
   If a robin sits on top of a high bush early in the morning it is a sign of a good day.
   A willy-wagtail tapping on the street is a sign of storm
