   If the cat washes three times over it's ears it is a sign of rain or if the cat sits with its back to the fire it is a sign of rain. If the far away hills seem near, it is also a sign of rain.
   To see the reflection of the hills or trees in the water is a sign of rain also.
   If there are a lot of midges to be seen in a summer evening it is a sign of a change in the weather. If the smoke goes straight up into the air it is a good sign of the weather and if it goes low down it is a bad sign of the weather
