    hawkers and they get a great amount of them as shop-soiled goods in the towns.
    They carry these goods in baskets or in canvas bags strapped on their shoulders.
    They used to go begging to the farmers for charity every day. Meal and potatoes they nearly always get. They used to start going around early in the morning and when they came home in the evening they used have a good days charity done. They used to sell all they got on the next day or on the same day.
