    There is a leap of stones below at Scalp it was the Danes put them in it. Long ago the Danes put a wall across the road and when anyone would be passing by in the road they would go to knock the wall the Danes would come out of the field and taken them prisoners and kill them. There was not any bottles fought in this parish. The O'Brien's, Mac Na Mara and O'Loughlin's that were over this place. Michael Cusack that founded the Gaelic Athletic
