- There are many signs which shows us when it is going to rain or going to have bad weather. Before it rains the hen are always picking themselves. It is also a very bad sign of the weather to see dogs eating grass, a cat also sits with his back to the fire when it is going to rain. Also before it rains there is a halo around the moon. Before it makes a storm cats are always scraping timber. It is also a sure sign that it will make a storm if the pigs are screeching during the night, because it is supposed(continues on next page)
