There is a cure for the stopping of blood also by a charm. There lived a man in sliabh na gGlusa named Curtis. This man had three hands and he was a smith. One day St. Patrick came to him and asked him to change the shoes in his horses in order that he would not be traced so St. Patrick gave him a charm that he could stop blood.
