  1. Informant says the "Gabhar-ig-Mag-bolg" was riding on a hore to mass behind a horseman one morning. She asked her companion for some blackberries which she ate, then she devoured the horse and ride and charged down to the place where St. Patrick was reading mass at Maghbolge, devouring people as she met them. Patrick cam out and with the sign of the cross cut her in four quarters. One quarter fell in the lake nearby and another in the little plantation near Moybolge. Informant does not remember when the other pieces fell. He says that it was this person who put the cairn of stones on Loughanlea Mountain. She carried them in her apron.
