  1. There is a fairy fort in the townland of Knocknalossett which belongs to Alec Gamble. If a person were standing on one fort, he is supposed to see seven forts from it. There are a few giants' graves on it. There is a fence of earth round it.
    The Danes built these forts.
The fairy people were supposed to live in them
A priest used to hide there in the Penal times as they could not live in the country and people call it "the priest's walls'
There is also a fort in Mr. R. Leinster's in the townland of Dernakesh.
It is surrounded by a fence of earth.
There are mounds in it said to be giants' graves.
    Collected from 'Parents'.
