    ran away from Mapa and they continued like this until they came to a river near Kells. Then Carnen did his best to kill Mapa. They kept fighting until they went into the river. At last Carnen struck Mapa a fatal blow and left him there in the river. Bits of his bones are to be seen there still. The river is called Mapa's river even to this day.
