Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)swollen face. It is chopped up and is mixed with other things. Then it is put to the place which is swollen.
Sulphur and butter when mixed together will cure ring-worms on cattle.
Salt and butter mixed together will keep down swelling on a sheep that has "flukes".
- Stewed Ivy leaves: The water which comes out of stewed ivy leaves mixed with whiskey and sugar is supposed to cure a cough.
"Warts": A person that has warts is to put as many stones in a bag as he has warts. Then he should leave the bag at a cross-road and whoever finds the bag will have the "warts". Another cure for "warts" is to knot a straw and put it on the "warts". The straw is then to be buried and when the straw is buried the "warts" are supposed to disappear.
"Ragwort" is an herb which is supposed to cure jaundice.
"March Malice" is another cure for jaundice. There is also ointment made out of it for sprains.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
