    2) St. Thomas well near Syl Dempsey's cottage Ballyvoodrane. This is a large well and according to Mr. Belvin is the source of Ballyvaldon river.
    3) St. Brigid's well at Castle Talbot. The parish has St. Brigid as patron Saint.
    4) Holy Well in Capt. Emmett's farm at Ballyvoodock. A Fr. Stafford while 'on his keeping' blessed this well. Mr. Belvin knew people who often came there for bottles of water.
