  1. It is said that long ago two Giants were fighting near Mullagh hill. The weapons they used were stones. Some of the stones with which they fought rested on a small hill near Mullagh. The place is still known as the gates of Mullagh. These ancient stones are so heavy that no ten men nowadays would move them.
