    Shrove is the time of the year that people marry mostly. These are old customs connected with it.
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wednesday the luckiest day of all
    Thursday for losses
    Friday for crosses
    Saturday the unluckiest day or all.
    It is unlucky for a girl to go back to her house sooner than a month after getting married. After getting married long ago, they used to have a big wedding and the boys that wouldn't be invited would dress up in straw hats and ribbons of every colour and if they wouldn't be let in they would do some damage
