  1. The people who have churns, churn every week. They scald it with boiling water and cool it with cold water. They scald the staff and the other things belonging to the churn. They put the cream in and start beating it up and down until the butter appears on it. They take the butter out of the churn and make prints on it. There are two kinds of churn, the hand churn and the barrel churn.
