    The Roads of the District.
There is an old road starting st Ennistymon graveyard and ends at Ennis.Long ago when the people were going to Ennis that was the only way they could go.During the bad times this road was made and the labourers worked in it for two pence a day.During the troubled times in Ireland not far from this road a man, while beside the fire ,was dragged out of the house and shot dead and a stone has been placed there to mark the place of his death.
