A Story of Hidden TreasureSituated midway between Lahinch and Ennistymon there lies the ruins of an old house in Wolf's land .The old house was haunted People passing by on several occasions se ghosts in the lawn adjoining the old house There is a wood under a particular ash tree and in the wood the treasure was hidden.Groups of men visited the wood several times to dig for the treasurebut were interfered with by ghost.One night a group of men made up their minds to go and dig for the treasure ,and find it at any cost .They were advised by old people to take with them a bottle of holy water and shake it around in a circle ,outside the place they were to dig.Secondly ,after shaking the holy water none of the men could speak one word until the treasure was found and removed from the wood.They started to dig until they struck a flag which was supposed(continues on next page)
