    Ballynamuddach
    situated in Dromin parish, means "The Townsland of the Tyrants."

    Lottera (?) in Bruree parish, comes down from the Irish, because of the wetness of the place.
    Clogher
    in Dromin parish, means "the stony place"
    Ballynornan
    in Rockhill parish means the place of the barley

    WELLS ETC.
    TOBARNAGRAUNA-GILLA
    is a well in Carroll's farm -Mountfox. Deers used to come to drink out of it long ago.
