  1. A prayer to stop bleeding is as follows:-
    Jesus of Nazareth was born in Galilee,
    He came to the Jordan baptized to be
    The water was clear and the day was good
    And when Jesus came the water stood
    I command this blood to do the same.
    If you have warts get a bpúicín or a small dark snail, rub him to the warts and stick him on others.
    Crowfoot cures toothache.
    Cobwebs and flax cure bleeding.
    A cure for a sty in the eye is to rub a hairy gooseberry to it.
    A cure for swollen glands is to rub unsalted lard to them.
