  1. Long ago there lived in Co. Limerick a very holy man. He was kind and gentle to all animals. One day as he was going about the road, he met a boy beating an ass most unmercifully. "Do you know that it was that animal that took Our Blessed Lord into Egypt." said the priest. "Oh" said the boy "He would never reach it if he had this fellow."
    "Did you ever go to school?" said the priest. "No" said the priest. "I don't blame you.".
