  1. In older times the people had not good houses like we have at present. Their houses were built with stones and mud and they were not very big. They were thatched with straw and tied with sugans which they made themselves. In many of those houses they used keep cattle on the winter nights. They used have a step ladder for a stairs. There was only one small window in the kitchen and another in the room. They used keep hens in one corner of the house inside in a cub.
