  1. There is a holy well near Eyeries called Tobairín Beannuighthe. Long ago many people used go there to perform rounds on this little well before and after first Mass. There is a cure in it for sore eyes. They used bathe their eyes with water. They used always leave some little token after them. Many people were cured. They are giving up the custom now as they are not paying any rounds there.
