    was out one night and Jack of the Lantern was leading them astray. It was said that Timothy McCarthy's father came out with a candle and he showed them the direction in which they were to go.
    There is a little stream near the village and it is said that a wizard was seen dancing there every night, and anyone that would cross the stream was sure to be found dead the following morning. One night three people set out to cross the stream. Each of them carried a bottle of holy water in his pocket. When they were crossing the stream the bottle fell from their pockets into the water and then the wizard disappeared.
