  1. Boys make tops from old spools which they shape & round. Then they stick spears in them to spin them.
    Girls make old dolls from rags & sawdust. They also make big daisy chains which they hung around their necks. They also made necklaces out of big red berries called Johnnie Mc Gorys which of course were poisonous. It is still carried on to this day.
    Boys make harness out of straw a sack & leather. First they got straw & they covered it with a sack & stitched it up, & over that they put leather & a rains & when they would find a horse they would put the saddle on & run races
