  2. About one and a half miles from St. Mullins in Drummond Wod and overlooking the River Barrow is a rock known as the Raven's Rock. The rock got its name from two ravens who used to build their nest there each year. My father told me the following story about this rock.
    One time an English Officer was lowered down to the rock by means of a rope to rob the nest. He
