    In Drumcolum there was a graveyard long ago which is not is use now because there were so many graveyards around that there was no need for it. Long ago there was an Abbey in Ballindoon and it is in ruins now and is used as a burial ground. There is a number of tombstones with the name of Mc Donagh on them.
    Kilross is a church which was established in the year 1233. It consisted of two parts one for the priests to live in and the other for saying Mass.
