  1. Noah and his family eight people in all were chosen people of God and he was ordered to bring a pair of every kind of animal into the arc. He had two dogs who used go round every night to see if everything was right before they would go to sleep. Each used take a different side so this night when they were going on the journey, one of the dogs found the water coming in at the corner of the arc. The dog put his nose down in the hole to stop the water coming in. He waited there for a long time thinking that the other dog would soon come to help him, but the other dog forgot about him altogether and went to sleep. The dog remained with his nose in the hole until morning, and when he took it out it was cold as ice. That is why a dog has a cold nose.
