- Once upon a time a man was digging away a fort which was in his way. Out came a little red man and asked him why he was knocking his house, and the man said he wanted to plough the whole field. The little red man gave him a little mill and told him not to tell whom he got it from. When he came home he put a sack of corn in the mill and milled a bag of flour. Some of the neighbours wanted flour so he milled it for them. At the end of seven years his wife asked him where he got it, he told her and at that moment it disappeared.
