In either bottom, side or top.
The stuff got time to dry and soak,
    Besides the vessel was bespoke.
And hark the coopers full demand,
Was paid by me into his hand.
And why should I to you concede,
An article for which I paid.
They say it is an ugly sin
To hold the goods of other men.
    Without their sanction or consent,
Let goods be either lost or lent.
It is a fault we must believe,
To keep, to covert, or receive.
And things to us well known,
We cannot claim to be our own.
It may not many small things take,
The written laws of God to break,
When the eating of one fruit we find,
Brought sin and death to all mankind.
We towards our neighbours should act thus,
As we should have them act towards us.
Now let the goods be soft or hard,
    Butter, bacon, beef or lard,
    Timber, iron, steel or brass,
    Metal, marble, delph or glass.
The neighbours of the goods will neer,
Excuse the man that acts unfair.
