    brought his mother to the ocean to drown her. He brought two sticks with him. When he came near the ocean he saw a house near him and he said to himself “I will leave her standing here for a little while,” and he went into the house and he asked for a cup of tea for himself and his mother. The women of the house got it ready. He told the woman to go out and to give his mother a good shaking and so she did. Then the old woman fell down into the ocean and the other women came in and she told all the news. The man was angry and he said that he would kill her and she said she would give him a hundred pounds if he spared her. The man was pleased and home he went.
    On his way home he met the other brothers and he said he got a hundred pounds for his mother. He asked him where he sold her? He said “In a town near the
