    catch it and he did. He put it in his bosom and on he went. When he came to the butcher’s stall he sold the skin but the butcher saw him looking into his bosom very often. He asked him what he had there? He showed him the bird and he told him that he was able to tell was to happen. The buther bought the bird for one hundred pounds and the man went home and he told them that he got a hundred pounds for the skin and they believed him. The two brothers killed their own horses and they only got six shillings for the skins.
    When they were gone the young brother told his wife to kill all the hens and so she did. They put the blood into little bags which they tied around their necks.
    The two brothers came home and they tried to kill the brother and his wife but the blood came out of the bags and they thought they were dead. They killed the mother and that might the young brother
