    Bhí fear darbh ainm Aodh Beag in a chomhnuidhe ins an Chrathaigh uair amháin agus chuaidh sé chuig aonach na Glannt[...] Ní rabh doigh aige le theacht na bhaile acht ag siubhal. Bhí fe[ar] ins an aonach agus bhí capall aige le díol. Leig Aodh air fh[éin] go rabh sé ag gabhail a cheannacht an chapaill. "An rachaidh mé ag marcuidheacht air" arsa Aodh Beag leis an díoltar "Téigh cinnte" arsa seisean. Chuaidh Aodh ag marduicheacht ar an chapall agus níor stad sé go dtí gur shroich sé an bhaile.
