    The boy's names were John Corry,James Moloney and Michael Burke.They were out a good way in the lake when the wind blew.After a little while the wind blew in a perfect hurricane.
    One little boy had a crucifix in his hand and he stood fast to the boat.The other boys were drowned.The people were much troubled and they went to the priest and he blessed a sheaf of oats.They put out the sheaf and it stood over where the bodies were.They found the bodies underneath where the sheaf stood.There was a man by the name of Fahy killed by a woman when going home from Mass.The people were all looking on and two men putting him sitting on a stone between two trees and the priest came to him and anointed him.Then he was taken home and he died next day.The two trees in which he was placed between never grew a leaf since. there was a house owned by Mr P Mc Arthurwas burned by the Black and Tans in 1921.There was a shed of hay burned accidentally about a year ago. There were two men cutting turf one day in a bog.The names of the men were Brian and Conway. Conway killed Brian with a sleán.Brian had two brothers and they followed Conway.He went into a house.The man of the house had magic power and he turned him into an ass and put him eating hay.The two brothers came in and said "if the devil has'nt ate him he is here"They never found him and the man turned him back
