    A Holy Well
    14th March, 1938
There is only one Holy Well in my district of Granard, Co. Longford. It is called "Saint Patrick's Well", because Saint Patrick visited it when he came to Granard in the 5th Century.
It is situated in a field owned by Mr George Burns, which is in the townland of Granardkille, and it is about three fields away from the famous Moat of Granard.
