    Local Roads

    The local roads in this district of Granard Co. Longford are, Longford Road, Cavan Road, Abbeylara Road, Scrabby Road, "Old' Road" and "Bog' Road.
    The Longford Road leads from Granard to the village of Ballinalee and the town of Longford. The "Bog Road" to Mullingar. The Scrabby Road to the beautiful Lake Gowna and the village of Scrabby. The "Old Road" is generally used by the country people.
