    A Fairy Fort
    7th Feb; 1938
    There are many "Fairy Forts" in this district, and Mrs Mary Boylan, an old woman of 82 and who is still alive and very active told me that she heard that there is a most remarkable "fairy fort" in the townland of Cartron, in the parish of Granard, Co. Longford.
    She says a light can be seen in it every night after ten o'clock.
    She tells the following story connected with it:-
