    Patrick Fagan of Robinstown, Granard, Co. Longford, who lived a few miles away from the "fort", was passing by it on his way home from a fair in Granard.
    It was after ten o'clock p.m., and he heard what seemed to him to sound as very sweet music.
    He stopped to listen to it, and it attracted him greatly, so he went to the spot from which the beautiful music came. Immediately, he saw himself surrounded by "fairies". They danced and sang around him, and he tried to escape from them, but was unable.
