- There was a storm in the year 1908 in the month of January. It blew a haybarn away about a half mile and also stripped and knocked many houses. It was known before hand by the cattle, sheep horses, and all the other farm animals. In the month of June 1936 there fell lumps of ice about the size of a duck egg. There was also thunder and lightning with it and all the crops were destroyed but it lasted only an hour, and it fell only in certain places. In the year 1930 there were piles of snow on the road about 4 feet in height, and against the walls(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
