old bones were found some time ago when men were digging.
About four years ago two men were digging up the foundation of an old house in Annahagh. The found three gold coins dating back to the year 1669. Near it also they found a piece of round iron. When they took off the rust they found inscribed on it "Put here in 1667."
In the townlands of Seloo and Kilcreen there are two Mass Rocks which were used over one hundred years ago.
