  1. As I go to my bed, as I go to the grave,
I pray to the Lord my soul to receive,
Lord of the branch, Lady of the flower
Sweet Jesus, be with me at my dying hour.
As I lie down to sleep
I give my soul to God to keep for ever,
    Waken now or waken never
I give my soul to God to keep for ever.
There are four corners on my bed
There are four angels over my head,
    Matther, Mark, Luke and John
God bless the bed that I lie on
For them that sleep they cannot see
    Holy Jesus save me.
See Our Lady sitting under Our Saviour's knee
Then keep us from the temptation of the devil
