    Once a crowd of people came to my Great - Great - Great Grandfather's house. He gave them meal, flour, bread and butter. He followed them with some eggs. He was surprised to find that they were eating the pens of the old cabbage leaves which had been thrown on the manure-heap.

  2. There was an old road running through Lisnawesna and the Deerpark. It went to Roslea also. My Great Grandfather remembered going to Roslea quite well. It is called a lane now. My Grandfather was compelled to work on this road at 4d per day.
