[?] mbagún méith 's é fhaghail ó Phratt" Pratt was a minister in Kenneigh in the Bad Times when proselytising was going on. It was then that Dómhnaillín turned and Tadhg Ciaruigheach made that verse about him.
One time Dómhnailín brought a poor old man to Protestant service. I suppose the poor old man was hungry and he expected something to eat. However the minister stayed preaching for a long while. At last the poor old man calls out
"Seo - má tá aon nidh le faghail faghaimís é"
At that time Curley Báid the poor man was crippled with rheumatism. Domhnailín na Carraige came one day to "convert" him. They stayed arguing for a while, another Curley called out to someone -
"Ar ghrádh Dia beir ar an mbligeard cun go ngeobhad air!"(continues on next page)
